Yes you heard it right! The handsome hunk is going to unveil this hidden talent of his during the Dream Team Concert 2016. Aditya Roy Kapoor had climbed the ladder of success by playing the role of a rock star in Aashiqui 2(2012). Little did we know then that his inclination towards music was beyond the 70 mm  screen.

Aditya has decided to take his passion a little ahead by performing on stage at US. Karan Johar’s Dream Team tour will be held in various cities across the US and will feature almost all Bollywood gen-y actors namely Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan,Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra and Aditya. While the other actors will dance on popular Bollywood numbers, Aditya will be seen crooning some songs.

An insider told Hindustan Times that Aditya will play the guitar, and will also sing on stage. “Aditya has hired a professional to help him with his singing. He spends some time daily on his vocal training. This will be Aditya’s first stage performance, and he is very excited about it.”

In an earlier interview with DNA,Aditya had confessed that he has always been interested in music and has been wanting to cut an album since his days as VJ. He said, “I want to cut an album and people keep telling me to bring it out soon but I need to spend time working on that. Though I am quite decent with my guitar playing I will need people for my music arrangements, background etc. I compose my own music and write my own songs so putting it together is not a problem. I just need some time… but yes, I will definitely do so next year. Though I am not sure yet whether it will be a single or a compilation of all kinds of songs.”

He plays tunes on his guitar and records it. “I tape it on a recorder. Right now it’s at such a nascent stage.” The actor-singer who has not had any formal training wants to rope in the best musicians to help him put together his album. “I had no training. I was a part of a band in St Xaviers College at the age of 18. Once I left my college I left the band also as I joined Channel V. Now I just play for my friends.”
