Yesterday a picture of veteran actor Vinod Khanna went viral on social media and left everybody in shock. Mr Khanna who was last seen on-screen in 2015 in Dilwale was admitted to the hospital for suffering from severe dehydration. We gave you a glimpse of the picture and even informed you about the actor’s ailment.

While reports doing rounds suggested that the actor is suffering from bladder cancer, his son Rahul Khanna said in his statement, “Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he’s been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in.”

Post which another statement was released by the spokesperson of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital which read,” Mr. Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy.”

While the yesteryear actor seemed to be recovering, his dear friend Amitabh Bachchan’s cryptic tweet last night suggested otherwise. Mr Bachchan shared a sad image of himself and wrote, Strange is it not, that the passing of the near and dear and colleagues, coerces one to start questioning one’s own longevity!
