Bajirao Mastani song Pinga: Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone light up the screen with their graceful dance jugalbandi!

Finally the awaited dance face off between PeeCee and Deepi is out

After casting Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in Ram Leela, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in the trioka of terrific actors yet again for his magnum opus Bajirao Mastani.

Apart from Ranveer-Deepika’s chemistry and the elements of history in the film, one thing which fans have been eagerly waiting is the dance face off between Priyanka and Deepika. The song Pinga picturised on the these two gorgeous beauties was supposed to be unveiled yesterday, but due to the shocking terrorist attacks at Paris the makers decided to postpone the song launch. But today, the song has been finally unveiled. I took a quick sneak peak of the song and this is what I thought of it:

Pinga is a superbly choreographed, excellently performed, incredibly shot dance number and is probably the best of three songs that have been unveiled from Bajirao Mastani. The song starts with Priyanka Chopra flaunting her graceful classical dance moves, quickly followed by Deepika’s enchanting lavani style dance. The chemistry between the two actress is fantastic and both of them match to each others steps effectively. More than being a dance face off, the song depicts a sort of bonding between Priyanka and Deepika‘s characters. Special mention for Priyanka Chopra as she not only excelled in dance but also displayed an array of elegant expressions. The song is catchy, fast and has elements of Maharastrian folk instruments. The costumes and sets are undoubtedly a class part.
