Cannes 2017: While we were obsessing over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tiger Shroff was quietly making his Cannes debut

While we often say our society has been unfair to women at times, I can say it in reverse when it comes to Cannes. Because this is one place or event, where it is the women who get all the attention, while the men quietly go about smiling and posing for a few photographs before strutting off to carry on with their business. This year, we had written articles and more articles about Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shruti Haasan, Amy Jackson and Sonam Kapoor, we fail to notice the men there. Like for example, Shruti Haasan had gone to Cannes with her team of Sangamithra, that includes Tamil stars Jayam Ravi, Arya along with composer AR Rahman. Then there was also this unnoticed fact that Tiger Shroff was also at Cannes making his silent debut.

Yes, you read it right. Tiger Shroff is at Cannes, where he is presenting the first look of the much talked about Rambo remake. Tiger Shroff has posted a pic on his Twitter timeline, where he was seen wearing a white suit and ensemble, and he was looking quite dashing in those. The pic was taken at his hotel room, so watch this space for more pics from the event, if and by when it comes.

Tiger Shroff’s Rambo remake is already getting wide attention with his fans loving his gritty look in the first poster that came out yesterday while others feel that some classics should not be touched (Tell that to Aamir Khan who was the lead in Aatank Hi Aatank, the unofficial remake of The Godfather). The original Rambo, Sylvester Stallone, has wished Tiger Shroff for the remake while also expressing concern that ‘hope India doesn’t wreck it’.
